The Policy of PT. MEGATEK KONSINDO, (here in after called the Company) is to maintain the highest standards for the Health and Safety of all employees and prevent polluting the environment. The Company will conduct all activities with appropriate safeguards as good as international and local rules. The Company will observe all applicable environmental, health, hazardous material transportation, safety and product safety laws and regulations in order to minimize the impact to the environment and prevent pollution. Every employee is expected to carry out the spirit as well as the intent of this policy. In order to meet these criteria the Company will maintain a safe and healthy working environment, safe equipment and safe system of work for all its employees. The Company will also provide such information, training and supervision, as is necessary for this purpose.

The company has the policies to work to reduce the number of accidents, injuries, dangerous occurrences and hazards which may compromise the safety and health of its employees and other people who may be affected by its activities. The company will utilize Policies and Procedures, which include the use of Risk Assessment Procedures, Company Hazard Reviews, Hazard Identification, Hazardous Materials and Control of Substances Hazardous to Health.

The company requires that all Managers and Employees shall meet safety culture as its Number One Standard Which Will Not Be Compromised. Working safely and following all Safety Procedures and Policies is considered a condition of employment. The company will also take all possible steps to achieve a highly motivated, trained and competent workforce to safely and efficiently conduct its operations and maintain the company’s equipment.

Safety and Health is the discipline concerned with preserving and protecting human and facility resources in the workplace. To aid in achieving this objective, every employee must realize the potential consequences of accidents and be familiar with and fully complies with the COMPANY Safety Procedures and applicable legislation. They must also apply the principles of safe systems of work and work practices in a consistent manner at all locations.
